FAQ
- Should salon commission be calculated before or after VAT?
- Most salons pay commission on the amount the salon actually keeps, which is the price after discounts and before VAT, because the VAT belongs to the tax authority. Your staff contracts decide; this calculator lets you choose either.
- How does the target bonus work?
- If you enter a monthly target and an extra percentage, the extra percentage is paid only on the services amount above the target. For example, with a target of AED 5,000 and 5% extra, a stylist with AED 6,000 of services gets 5% on AED 1,000 on top of their normal commission.
- Does the WhatsApp link send the message automatically?
- No. It opens WhatsApp with the message ready for you to check and send yourself. Only message clients who gave you their number for appointment messages.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. Everything is calculated by JavaScript in this browser tab. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere. See the privacy page.
