How it works
- Export your payment list from Excel or Google Sheets (columns: Name, IBAN, BIC (optional), Amount, Reference).
- Drop the file in PayBatchKit. Every IBAN is checked (country length + mod-97 checksum), amounts are summed in cents, and special characters (ä, é, &) are converted to the EPC SEPA character set.
- Download a pain.001.001.03 (accepted by most EU banks) or pain.001.001.09 XML file and upload it to online banking.
What gets checked
- IBAN checksum and length for all SEPA countries
- BIC format (8 or 11 characters)
- EUR only, 0.01–999,999,999.99, max 2 decimals (1.234,56 and 1,234.56 both understood)
- Name ≤ 70, remittance ≤ 140 characters
- Control sum and transaction count in the header
- Optional payee address columns (Street, Building number, Postcode, Town, Country): written as a structured address in pain.001.001.09, or as country plus address lines in .03
Collecting money instead of paying? Use the SEPA direct debit (pain.008) generator.
