SEPA direct debit XML (pain.008) from Excel / CSV

Collect membership fees, subscriptions or invoices by SEPA Direct Debit without retyping mandates into online banking. You need a Creditor Identifier (CI) and a direct debit agreement with your bank; PayBatchKit builds the collection file your bank asks you to upload.

How it works

  1. Keep one row per payer in Excel or Google Sheets: Name, IBAN, Amount, Mandate ID, Mandate date, plus optional BIC, Sequence (FRST / RCUR / OOFF / FNAL), Reference and address columns (Street, Building number, Postcode, Town, Country).
  2. Enter your company name, IBAN, Creditor Identifier, scheme (CORE or B2B) and the collection date.
  3. Download a pain.008.001.02 (accepted by most banks) or pain.008.001.08 XML file. Rows are grouped into one payment block per sequence type, as banks expect.

What gets checked

Our test suite validates every generated file against the official ISO 20022 XSD schemas for pain.008.001.02 and pain.008.001.08.

FAQ

Do I still need FRST for a first collection? Since November 2016 the SEPA rulebooks allow RCUR for the first collection of a recurring mandate, so most creditors use RCUR throughout. Use FRST only if your bank still asks for it.

CORE or B2B? CORE works for consumers and businesses. B2B is only for business payers who have registered the mandate with their own bank; it has no refund right for the payer.

How early must I submit? Your bank sets the cut-off. The scheme minimum is one interbank business day before the collection date, but many banks ask for more, so check your bank's direct debit agreement.

Is my data uploaded? No. The page runs entirely in your browser.

Free? Files with up to 5 debits are free; Pro removes the limit.
