Most CRMs that work with Gmail charge per user, per month, and the headline price usually assumes a year paid up front. Below is what the entry plan of six Gmail-friendly CRMs costs, taken from each vendor's own pricing page on 8 October 2026, with the yearly total for one person and for a team of three. At the end: when you need one of these, and when a Google Sheet that reads Gmail is enough.

- FollowSheet (a Google Sheet + an Apps Script in your own Google account): fills in last contacted, who wrote last, subject and thread link from Gmail; sets Needs reply / Overdue / Gone cold; Pro adds a daily sync and a morning email of who to chase. No email tracking, mail merge, mobile app or shared pipelines.
Which one fits?
- You need email tracking, sequences, mobile apps, permissions or reporting: a full CRM is worth paying for. Streak and NetHunt live inside Gmail; Copper is built around Google Workspace; folk adds LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
- You want the lowest price for a small team with one simple plan: Less Annoying CRM ($15 per user) or Bigin's free plan for one person.
- You mainly need to know who you last emailed, who owes a reply and who has gone quiet: a sheet may be enough. FollowSheet keeps that list in a Google Sheet you own, without a server or per-seat bill. Read the FollowSheet vs Streak comparison or the guide to a free Gmail CRM in Google Sheets.

FAQ
What is the cheapest Gmail CRM?
Of the paid CRMs we checked on 8 October 2026, Less Annoying CRM had the lowest single price at $15 per user per month, and Bigin by Zoho has a free plan for 1 user and 500 records. If you only need to know who you last emailed, who owes a reply and who went quiet, a Google Sheet such as FollowSheet (free, Pro $59/year) can be enough.
Does Streak have a free CRM plan?
Streak's own FAQ says its free plan includes email tools (tracking, snippets, 50 mail-merge sends a day) but not CRM pipelines. Paid plans start at $49 per user per month billed annually.
How much does a Gmail CRM cost for a team of 3?
At annual list prices: Streak Pro $1,764 a year, Copper Basic $828, NetHunt Basic $864, folk Standard $864, Less Annoying CRM $540, before tax. FollowSheet Team is $149 a year for up to 5 Google accounts.
When is a full CRM worth paying for?
When a team works shared pipelines all day and needs email tracking, sequences, mobile apps, permissions, reporting or integrations. FollowSheet doesn't do those; it keeps a client list up to date from Gmail and tells you who to chase.
