When an Arabic PDF is converted to Word by a generic tool, the result is often a document where each line is a separate text box, words are reversed, or paragraphs are left-aligned so editing is painful.
This tool rebuilds the text first (correct letter order, joined lam-alef, words that were split by the PDF put back together) and then writes a clean Word file:
- Arabic paragraphs are marked right-to-left (
bidi), so they align and wrap correctly in Word, LibreOffice and Google Docs; - Arabic runs are marked as right-to-left text while English words, codes and numbers stay left-to-right inside them;
- tables become real Word tables laid out right-to-left, with the first column on the right.
Word export is part of the planned Pro plan (not on sale yet). You can try the same conversion for free with Excel export and copy-to-clipboard.
What it can't do
- Scanned PDFs (photos of paper) contain no text, only an image. This tool does not do OCR and will tell you so.
- Some PDFs embed fonts without a character map (for example Chrome-printed variable fonts). The text cannot be recovered reliably; the tool detects this and warns you.
- Always spot-check totals and names before relying on the output.
