Chasing invoices is awkward, so it gets put off, and late invoices get later. This workbook works out each invoice's due date, how many days late it is, which reminder to send next and on what date. On Monday, filter for CHASE NOW, send the matching email, tick it off.
Excel / Google Sheets workbook + 8 editable reminder emails/letters (Word + text) + a 2-page quick start. No macros. Example data is fictional.
Free first: write one reminder email with the free generator, or read how to track unpaid invoices in Google Sheets.

Optional: UK late-payment interest (business customers)
If your customer is a business and your contract sets no other rate, UK law lets you claim statutory interest of 8% a year above the Bank of England reference rate, plus a fixed sum of £40, £70 or £100 depending on the size of the debt, once per invoice (GOV.UK, GOV.UK). The reference rate is the one in force on 31 December or 30 June before interest starts (SI 2002/1675 art. 4; Bank of England Bank Rate history). If no payment date was agreed, payment is late 30 days after the customer gets the invoice or you deliver, whichever is later (GOV.UK).

| Interest starts on or after | Statutory rate in the workbook |
|---|---|
| 01/01/2025 | 4.75% + 8% = 12.75% a year |
| 01/07/2025 | 4.25% + 8% = 12.25% a year |
| 01/01/2026 | 3.75% + 8% = 11.75% a year |
| 01/07/2026 | 3.75% + 8% = 11.75% a year |
| 01/01/2027 | enter when known |
Rates checked 8 Oct 2026. Outside the UK the rules differ (EU: Directive 2011/7/EU, implemented differently in each country).
FAQ
Does it send the reminders for me?
No. It tells you which reminder is due and on what date, and gives you the text. You send it from Gmail or Outlook. For Gmail reply tracking, see FollowSheet.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. In Google Sheets use File > Import > Upload. No macros; dropdowns, statuses, colours and the dashboard use standard functions. Excel 2016+ and LibreOffice work too.
I'm not in the UK. Is it still useful?
Yes. The tracker, chase schedule, statement and letters work in any country and currency. The optional interest calculator follows UK rules for business customers only; leave it on 'Not claiming' or use your contract rate.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. Organiser and letter templates: not legal or tax advice, and not financial advice. The UK statutory interest and fixed-sum calculator follows the GOV.UK guidance for business-to-business debts; check it applies to your contract (you cannot claim statutory interest if the contract sets a different rate). Other countries have their own rules. This kit does not cover court claims or debt collection.
Solo or Team?
Solo ($49) is for one person or sole trader. Team ($99) covers one business with up to 10 people and adds the Payment Plan Tracker plus 3 extra letters (payment plan confirmation, dispute acknowledgement, statement cover note).
Can I get a refund?
14-day money-back guarantee: email labskaruna@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.
