What the parts mean
The 4 letters identify the bank (from its BIC); the remaining 14 characters are the account number.

Paying an IBAN in Bahrain
For international transfers your bank will usually ask for the BIC/SWIFT code of the receiving bank too.
Tip for GCC businesses: if you pay staff or suppliers in bulk, keep IBANs in a spreadsheet and validate the whole column before uploading a payment file.
Writing the IBAN in groups of four (BH62 ABCD …) is the usual print format; online banking and payment files use it without spaces.
